To participate in the weekly Minute Papers discussions on the UW SMC Blog, you must sign into the WordPress comments feature using Facebook, Twitter or WordPress itself.
If you don't want to use Facebook or Twitter and don't have a WordPress account, here are a few easy steps to help you get started:
Submit your email address, username, password and blog URL (you don't have to start a blog if you don't want to, but this step is required when registering)
Choose the free "wordpress.com" option and click "Create blog" at the bottom of the page
You'll receive an email asking you to verify your address. Be patient, as WordPress states the email "should arrive within 30 minutes. If you do not activate your account within 2 days, you must sign up again"
To update your personal WordPress profile, select your name in the top right corner of the black dashboard bar at the top of the page, then click on your profile's image. You can change your public display name and avatar, as well as your profile information.
